Alfa Chemistry Launches a Subsidiary Website for Nanomaterials

Nanomaterials are increasingly used in healthcare, electronics, cosmetics and other areas. In response to the growing demand for nanomaterials, Alfa Chemistry, a New York-based chemical supplier, announced that it has established a subsidiary website for the supply of various nanomaterials, covering targets/wafers, quantum dots, porous nanomaterials, novel materials, nanowires, nanotubes, nanospheres, nanorods, nanoprisms, nanofoil, nanofibers, nanoparticles, nanocarbon, as well as other nanomaterials.

Nanomaterials exhibit excellent properties such as great chemical and physical stabilities, lower density, and large surface area. Currently, extensive efforts focused on the study of nanomaterials can be summarized in two aspects: first, the investigation of fundamental nanomaterial properties, including their mechanical, electrical, and optical properties; second, the development of novel applications in a broad range of engineering fields.

A nanostructure is defined when at least one dimension of a system is less than 100nm, and such structures have been found to influence the chemical and physical properties of the bulk material. Therefore, the great features of nanomaterials make them excellent candidates for the design and preparation of new functional materials.
