AusDiagnostics, a leading biotechnology company specialising in molecular diagnostics, has today
launched Puryx® Access – the latest addition to the popular Puryx® extraction product line.
The new product, which offers high-throughput sample purification at a more accessible price point,
has been specially developed as a convenient, faster option for customers who want to purify 96
samples at a time with minimal setup time and requires less training.
This latest addition to the Puryx® brand is automated on the new MT-Prep™ Access instrument and
allows users to process 96 samples in 30 minutes. While being almost as fast as the Puryx® Rapid
which is used primarily in COVID-19 screening, the Access also yields similar quality nucleic acids to
the Puryx® Comprehensive launched early this year.
The Access reagent set comes in a box of 96 tests per pack and the kit includes six pre-loaded
plates, which contain all the reagents required to perform the extraction.
